In February and March 2023 we present a programme of new original online theatre production experiences specially designed for young children aged six to eight. The 60-minute interactive play-and-learn workshops offer children a basic introduction to the role of the backstage theatre production crew, with live facilitators offering insight into the skills and technical equipment required to stage exciting performances. Workshops include CrewKids Online Mission: Set and Props and CrewKids Online Mission: Lighting.

Each workshop opens with a demonstration of some stage sets or lighting used in performances. The second part of the workshop consists of a virtual backstage crew experience on a multiplayer gaming platform, where participants get to work as a team and help prepare sets, props and lighting for a virtual show.

The workshops are offered as public sessions and special sessions for schools and organisations.
