Kwai Tsing Daily @ West Kowloon
Nursery Park, West Kowloon , 26.02.2017
Kwai Tsing is known for its factory buildings, estates, container terminals, interwining highways and bridge roads. But what are the human stories behind its urban landscape?
To share the community culture of Kwai Tsing with the whole of Hong Kong, West Kowloon is collaborating with Kwai Tsing District Council to present “Kwai Tsing Daily @ West Kowloon”, a community engagement event curated by the Make A Difference Institute. The free event features lots of fun activities, including an old-style market, a gourmet ‘food street’ with local specialities, as well as games, stage performances, workshops with neighbourhood master craftsmen, and much more.
To offer audiences deeper insight into the culture of the district, ‘Kwai Tsing Daily @ West Kowloon’ also includes two pre-event workshops, ‘Kwai Tsing Stories’ and ‘Flash Mob Theatre’, as well as a free community paper full of informative local stories.
Join us on the Nursery Park lawns to learn more about Kwai Tsing and get a taste of its unique local culture.
