M+ Summer Camp is a youth-targeted initiative organised by M+. Over four days, young people from different backgrounds explore, experiment, play, and work together in ways that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.

For this programme, we are collaborating with instructors and guest speakers who are practitioners of visual art, design, architecture, illustration, comics, film, writing, and performing arts. Together, we are taking young people on a journey of participation and discovery, as well as fostering dialogue by examining artistic practices.

Participants who share similar passions interact with instructors, discuss creative practices, and become immersed in cross-disciplinary topics. Through process-oriented and inquiry-based activities—including indoor and outdoor workshops, talks, sharing sessions, and performances conducted in small groups or collectively—participants learn skills applicable to their daily lives. They choose workshops according to their own interests, thereby actively shaping their own camp experience.

Last year, M+ Summer Camp attracted a vibrant group of a hundred students from different schools, creating a dynamic and memorable experience. This is an extraordinary opportunity to immerse in visual culture and to explore different ways of thinking, experiencing, and learning.

We welcome young people who are adventurous, open-minded, and curious about the world to join M+ Summer Camp. No prior knowledge of arts and crafts is needed.
