Join us on 2 December as West Kowloon and the Hong Kong Design Centre co-present Special Lectures: The Making of Millennium Park at this year’s Business of Design Week (BODW).
Since its opening in 2004, the 24-acre Millennium Park project has become one of Chicago’s most iconic destinations and its second-most visited tourist spot. The park is known for its world-renowned public art and architecture, including the Cloud Gate by Anish Kapoor, the Crown Fountain by Jaume Plensa and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion by Frank Gehry that provide the backdrop for hundreds of cultural programmes including concerts, exhibitions, tours and family activities.
Bringing together a panel of experts involved in the planning, construction and management of the park, this special lecture will discuss how the cultural venue was created and evolved into a globally renowned cultural destination.
You can enjoy a 30% discount* on tickets for this lecture by simply entering the promo code SPEC30 when you make your purchase. Tickets are now on sale at www.bodw.com .
BODW is organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre and recognised as Asia’s leading annual event on design, innovation and brands.
