Description

In this performance and open sharing event, the TEA Student Ensemble – Allison Fong, Ian Tang, Yoyo Yau, current and former students of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts’ School of Theatre and Entertainment – present a new iteration of their experimental sound and image performance Oo.ll.oO Against Alienation in Our New Normal and share insight into the production and staging process. The TEA Ensemble are joined in the sharing session by TechBox facilitator Fiona Lee and curators Yuen Cheuk-wa and Bobo Lee.

Oo.ll.oO Against Alienation in Our New Normal
The real-time interactive sound and image performance work Oo.ll.oO Against Alienation in Our New Normal explores the mixed use of musical instruments, analogue synthesisers, TouchDesigner software, projection and lighting to coordinate and manipulate audio and visual effects. The version presented in this event revisits and expands on the original work from 2021.
