The Sigg Fellowship for Chinese Art Research is a new M+ programme held every other year to support new research on Chinese art, in dialogue with the M+ Collections.

Due to the current situation and transport disruption, the SmartBike service will be temporarily suspended today (13 November 2019)

The M+ Pavilion is closed from 21 October for the replacement of exhibits, and is expected to re-open on 7 December 2019

Due to a public event scheduled to take place in the Canton Road/Austin Road area on the afternoon of Sunday 7 July, there will be severe traffic disruption around the Xiqu Centre due to road closures and public transport re-routing.

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ms Florence Hui Hiu-fai, SBS, a member of the Board of the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) on 3 December 2018 and sent the deepest condolences and sympathy to her family

The West Kowloon Cultural District showcased strongly at this year’s Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres annual conference, held for 2018 in Auckland, New Zealand. As well as featuring the Cultural District in a panel discussing the key role of Performing Arts Centres in cultural hubs, the District also had an opportunity to share details about “ON VIEW: Panorama”, one of its upcoming collaborative projects in the Asia Pacific region
