This November marks the start of our new three-year CCDC in Residence programme. For the first event in the collaboration, Freespace partners with CCDC to present two major events as part of City Contemporary Dance Festival. Re-Mark, the opening performance, is a thought-provoking new work on body, space and memory by CCDC Resident Choreographer Sang Jijia. Almost 55, created by a team of artists from Hong Kong and Taiwan, is a solo for long-time CCDC Resident Artist Qiao Yang that celebrates her forty-year career. Virtual reality dance films and free indoor and outdoor performances will also take place around Freespace and the Art Park.

This event is part of West Kowloon’s commitment to establish long-term partnerships with local and international arts organisations.
