Royal Blues

Royal Blues is a female duet, composed of Joey Wong and Jaymie Cheung. They busk at different parts of Hong Kong and use their interpretation to cover others’ work. Recently, they have started to compose their own pieces to share their stories to passersby.

Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) is the first professional orchestra in Hong Kong since 1974. Being one of Asia’s leading orchestras, HK Phil has a busy performance schedule of over 150 performances reaching more than 200,000 listeners each season, touring around the world to promote Hong Kong as Asia’s World City. One of the highlights will be the large-scale symphonic event Swire Symphony Under the Stars, which aims to bring classical music to the community. Besides performances, HK Phil also has comprehensive education and outreach programmes to invest in Hong Kong’s musical future. This time, HK Phil once again leads us to step outside the Concert Hall! Come and join the HK Phil percussion ensembles, bringing you wonderful music in a spectacular setting

CC Cherry

Despite her western music training, Cherry has been enthusiastic about pop music since her teenage years. She uses pop music to express her passion towards singing. From singing in Karaoke room to singing to audiences; from covering others’ work to singing her own stories, she uses her instincts to compose and sing, not bound by social standards and trends.  She believes that Hong Kong needs variety in voices and music and with her special voice and her personality, she hopes to be different in the field.

Pomegranate Tree

In Greek mythology, the pomegranate is a fruit that can wash away all worries.  The band hopes that their songs can erase people’s sorrows and people find their meaning of life.

Esther LamLam

Esther LamLam is a 16-year-old singer and song writer, and one of the members of 1230 and The Flame. She started performing on the streets and at various concerts in 2013. She has previously performed at the 2014 Hong Kong Youth Music Festival and the evening concert held in the Blue House in Wan Chai.

Tiffany Chan

Tiffany Vicky Chan is an independent singer/songwriter from Hong Kong. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Passionate about music from an early age, Chan is proficient in trumpet, piano, guitar among other musical instruments. She joined the junior music programme from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts at the tender age of 11, majoring in trumpet and subsequently won a number of distinctions and awards over the years for her playing. A formerly trained musician, Chan also grew a keen interest for pop music in middle school, and released her first pop album URealife together with friends when she was 17. 

The Sulis Club

The Sulis Club was formed in October 2013. This Hong Kong four piece Indie-Rock band has always been passionate about making music by using their own thoughts and musical sprits. Their work were influenced by Oasis, Jets, Ellegarden, Toe, Hiatus, The Killers and many more. The Sulis Club consists of Foon Yuen on Drums, Gino Yip on Bass, Andy Lee on Guitar and Jonathan Synn on Guitar&Vocal.

New Youth Barbershop

Part of a new breed of switched on, disenfranchised local youth, New Youth Barbershop are armed with that special knack of covering social and political commentary through good humour and the catchiest of acoustic folk.
