In light of the current situation, ON VIEW: Panorama Installation Exhibition on 9-19 April 2020 (Thursday-Sunday) will be rescheduled. Details will be announced on the West Kowloon Cultural District website www.westkowloon.hk in due course.

This multi-channel video installation exhibition by Sue Healey explores ideas about portraiture, identity and the moving body and seamlessly combines dance and film. Evoking the reverential spaces of a portrait gallery – a place where the moving body is analysed and the nature of portraiture is dissected and queried – the exhibition celebrates the unique skills and diverse philosophies of 18 artists ranging in age and experience from 28 to 105.

The included works document and expand on three projects – ON VIEW: Hong Kong (2017), ON VIEW: Australia (2018) and ON VIEW: Japan (2019). Honouring the history and the evolving nature of the series, the videos also offer a new panorama perspective on the diversity of portraits, approaches and nuances across the three regions and cultures.
