Princess Aurora is asleep in her castle after a spell is cast on her by an evil fairy. Only a kiss from her prince can awaken her.
Masterminded by renowned local choreographer Yuri Ng and narrated by Rick Lau, the Hong Kong Ballet production Ballet Classics for Children: The Sleeping Beauty is a one-hour abridged version of the full-length classic that will enchant children with its innovative blend of storytelling, dance and audience interaction. This fun, popular series sells out every year and is a wonderful first introduction to a live ballet performance for children as young as three years old.
Ballet Classics for Children: The Sleeping Beauty is co-presented by Freespace as part of our HK Ballet in Residence 2020 programme.

If a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force three hours before the start of the performance, the performance will be cancelled.
