Freespace Jazz Fest is committed to providing a welcoming, accessible space that is open for everyone. Collaborating with the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK), we provide a range of services such as Hong Kong sign interpretation and audio description in Cantonese to ensure that visitors of all abilities can participate in and enjoy our events.
Hygiene Measures
For the safety of participants, visitors, artists and staff, please note the following health precautions:
- Please bring your own mask and wear it at all times in the venue.
- Temperature checks will be carried out before admission. Visitors showing a temperature of 37.5°C or above will not be able to participate.
- Special seating arrangements are being implemented. Please follow the instructions of our staff.
- If you have travelled outside of Hong Kong in the past 14 days or are wearing a home quarantine tracking wristband, please wait until your quarantine period is over before visiting West Kowloon.
- Special Arrangements in Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Go Green
We all know that plastic waste is harmful to the environment. To reduce the amount of plastic used at our events, you are also welcome to bring your own utensils.
Transportation
Getting to West Kowloon is simple. The district is easily accessible by MTR, bus, minibus and road. See transportation details
Visitors are recommended to use public transport. For those wishing to drive, there is an hourly-rated car park (Zone E Car Park) near the M+ Pavilion.
Do we need a ticket to get in?
Jazz Imaginarium, Angelita Li Sings Billie Holiday – Feat. Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra and Ted Lo and Eugene Pao are individually ticketed.
Other programmes are free and no tickets are required.
Do we need to register?
Some free programmes require registration. For more details, please visit “Free Programmes” Tab.
Special Weather Arrangements
Festival events will be cancelled if a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force 3 hours before the start of the event. Changes to individual programmes under other adverse weather conditions will be announced here.
Food and Drinks
Lau Bak Livehouse at Freespace serves a great selection of craft beer, signature cocktails and delicious meals and snacks. Our harbour-side Art Park restaurants and cafes are perfect for coffee, lunch, dinner, happy-hour cocktails and more. Details
You are also welcome to bring your own food and utensils and picnic in the Art Park. Please note that outside food is not allowed in restaurants and cafes.

Can I bring my pet?
The Art Park and waterfront promenade are pet-friendly spaces, and West Kowloon welcomes visitors who want to bring their pets. Please ensure all pets are kept leashed and under control at all times. Please note that pets are not allowed inside Freespace or other indoor areas (except guide dogs). Details
