In this pop-up workshop, photographer Siu Wai Hang guides participants to make their own “camera obscura” – a forerunner of the modern camera – using only a piece of paper and a magnifying glass. The hands-on experience gives participants an understanding of the structure of a camera, and encourages them to use their obscura to observe and explore their surroundings from a new perspective.
