Paper Puppet Making Workshop: Lion Dance Head

The lion dance is one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable heritage arts. Traditionally performed to bring good fortune at festivals and auspicious ceremonies, the lion dance is an art form that brings historical practices into the contemporary world. At the start of this Lunar New Year, join us at a fun handicraft workshop where you can create your personalised paper puppet of a lion dance head and learn more about this unique cultural tradition!

HK$50 per participant (includes materials and tools)
Each registered participant will receive one set of materials only. Registered participants may be accompanied by one companion. Please register online in advance.

Adverse weather arrangements:
The workshop will be cancelled if a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force at/after 11:30am on the day of the event.
