SHOWTIME! West Kowloon’s Artistic Strategy for Performing Arts

West Kowloon’s Xiqu Centre, Freespace and Art Park are now opened!
In this free talk, Alison M Friedman, West Kowloon’s Acting Executive Director and Artistic Director, Performing Arts shares the artistic vision and strategies for our two major performing arts venues – the Xiqu Centre, a contemporary gateway to the ancient art form of Chinese traditional theatre, and Freespace, Hong Kong’s new centre for contemporary performance. Join us to find out how the Xiqu Centre and Freespace will transform Hong Kong’s creative landscape, how Xiqu Centre programming embraces traditional Cantonese opera and so much more, and how Freespace and the Art Park will make Hong Kong an important stop of the international touring circuit map.
