Stone-painting Workshop

Painted stones combine art and nature and can make wonderful reflective mementos or gifts for your friends and loved ones.
During this 2-hour workshop, Hong Kong’s first and only full-time stone painter Kam Shing-yan guides you through basic stone-painting techniques, and helps you achieve a sense of focused calm that acts as a perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city.

Each registered participant will receive one set of materials only. Please register online in advance.
Accessibility Services:

Adverse Weather Arrangements:
The workshop will be cancelled if a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force at/after 11:30am on the day of the event.

About Tutor:
In 2011, local artist Kam Shing-yan established her design brand WORDist. Using stones and painting as her main media, Kam takes inspiration from Chinese characters and hopes her painted objects can inspire calm reflection on nature and the literary world.
