Join us for ten days of great sounds at Hong Kong’s largest music festival – showcasing the best in local talent and featuring free and ticketed performances indoors and outdoors

Experience the best of the Hong Kong pop music scene at our new 10-day festival – HKT x WESTK POPFEST. Curated by West Kowloon, and offering a vibrant programme of indoor and outdoor performances, the festival showcases over 70 acts in exciting new crossovers and collaborations.

The festival also features two spotlight events at M+, Dragon’s Delusion – Paracusia, a live music screening of the animation work of Hong Kong artist Kongkee and Disco Night, a trip back in time to the golden era of Cantopop, as well as a series of free live sessions at Lau Bak Livehouse, Great Lawn and Harbourside Lawn East.

On 31 March evening, get in the groove with iconic retro hits at Disco Night – an audio-visual celebration that transforms the Lightwell Hall of M+ with Cantopop and dance tracks. Register here.

HKT x WESTK POPFEST programmes take place at Freespace, the Art Park, Wonderland and M+ in the West Kowloon Cultural District. They are easily accessible by MTR, bus, mini-bus and taxi or private car. Visitors are recommended to use public transport. For those wishing to drive, there is an hourly-rated car park (Parking information).

Lau Bak Livehouse at Freespace serves a great selection of craft beer, signature cocktails and delicious meals and snacks. Restaurants and cafes in our harbour-side Art Park, M+, and Hong Kong Palace Museum are perfect for coffee, lunch, dinner, happy-hour cocktails and more. Details

Fest Guide

Copies of Fest Guide are available at the West Kowloon Ticket Offices; restaurants, cafes or food trucks in Art Park, M+ or Hong Kong Palace Museum, and designated information booths in West Kowloon Cultural District from 22 March to 2 April 2023. Fest Guide is valid for the entire HKT x WESTK POPFEST period (from 22 March to 26 March 2023 and from 29 March to 2 April 2023).

Do we need a ticket to get in?

The programmes at The Box, including Unboxed and I Am What I Am – A tribute to Leslie Cheung; Popnorama at Wonderland; and Dragon’s Delusion – Paracusia at M+ are individually ticketed.

Other programmes are free and no tickets are required.

Special Weather Arrangements

HKT x WESTK POPFEST events will be cancelled if a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon signal no. 8 or above is in force 3 hours before the start of the events. Changes to individual programmes under other adverse weather conditions will be announced on West Kowloon’s social media platforms.

During the period from 22 March to 2 April 2023, each holder of entrance ticket (the “Ticket”) of “HKT x WESTK POPFEST” can collect from any of the (1) West Kowloon Ticket Office, (2) restaurants, cafes or food trucks in Art Park, M+ or Hong Kong Palace Museum or (3) designated information booths in West Kowloon Cultural District one Fest Guide only. Lost or damaged Fest Guides will not be replaced.
By presenting the Fest Guide and Ticket before placement of order, the holder of the Fest Guide and the Ticket is entitled to redeem the discounts as listed on the following website: https://www.westkowloon.hk/popfest.
The discounts are available from 22 March to 26 March 2023 and from 29 March to 2 April 2023. Each discount can be redeemed once only.
The Fest Guide will be marked after a discount is redeemed at each restaurant / cafe / food truck to reflect the usage.
The discounts are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.

West Kowloon Cultural District Authority ("Authority") and the respective restaurant / cafe / food truck reserve the right to change or withdraw any discount and to amend these Terms and Conditions anytime without prior notice and without incurring lability to anyone whatsoever. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Authority shall be final.
No person other than the parties to which these Terms and Conditions apply shall have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce these Terms and Conditions.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and the English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

The Art Park is a pet-friendly space, and West Kowloon welcomes visitors who want to bring their pets. Please ensure all pets are kept leashed and under control at all times.
