HKPM Movies – Celebrating the Opening of the HKPM and its Vision and Mission scheduled for 2 July 2022 (Saturday) 11am has been cancelled due to Typhoon Signal No.8.

Curated film screenings will be offered in alignment with the Museum's thematic and special exhibitions, as well as topics related to Chinese art and culture. Post-screening talks will be organised to encourage dialogue between the audience and filmmakers.
Three special documentaries will celebrate the Museum’s opening:
The Palace Museum Diary features behind-the-scenes footage of the restoration of the Hall of Mental Cultivation in the Forbidden City. The Eight Great Crafts – Construction Techniques of the Forbidden City introduces audiences to the fascinating processes behind the construction of the Forbidden City. When The Louvre and The Forbidden City Come Together explores connections between the cultures of China and France.
