For three consecutive weeks, experience the magical Northern Lights in the night skies over the Art Park
Description
Between 13 February and 5 March 2023, Swiss artist Dan Acher’s large-scale outdoor art installation Borealis presents a magical, immersive light and sound experience over the Great Lawn of the Art Park. Every night, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, the natural wonder of the northern lights is recreated in the night skies of Hong Kong, offering a unique experience each time as the hue and density of the digitally controlled lights shift with the weather and the natural environment.
Borealis has toured internationally to more than 30 cities around the world. The Hong Kong premiere of the work transforms the Art Park with a captivating and unmissable shared community experience.
Borealis is presented as part of SerendiCity – a media arts festival showcasing new perspectives on art, urban environments, people and technology.
